History: Mongmong-Toto-Maite (MTM) Elementary School was built in 1971. Later named in honor of Juan Quintanilla San Miguel (January 20, 1903 - November 16, 1962) who was a prominent business man, and proprietor of the San Miguel Retail store of Mongmong. He is the founder of Mongmong-Toto-Maite District Area, a member of the 4th, 5th, and 6th Guam Legislature, and member of the 10th Guam Congress.
